This isn’t something I plan to make a regular occurrence of posting, but seeing as it was the Norwegian national day today and an opportunity to dress up a little more than usual, I thought I’d share my “day-off” look with all my fantastic readers.
Posed against my garage door, appearing to look unconcerned and relaxed, I’m wearing my SEH Kelly Tour jacket, the Nigel Cabourn Madras linen crazy checked waistcoat, a cheap as chips Uniqlo white oxford shirt, ARN Mercantile trousers with a very fine herringbone pattern, and my incredibly nice new Grenson X Barbour Marske country brogues. WellDressedGirlfriend thought the shoes were too much, but what does she know? Grenson tweeted me “you look fantastic”, which I truly appreciate!
I’ll tag this one in the “Style” category, I think. I feel like a teenage girl writing an outfit blog. Yah!
Gratulerer med dagen!
I was in Norway last Friday (17th); next year will be the 200th anniversary of their declaration of constitutional self-government, so it will be a splendid occasion.. Norway is a very casual country, but 17th May is one of the rare occasions when Norwegians dress up.
