Looking around the on-line sales…

It’s that point in the pre-summer preparations when the mind is getting ready for some holiday relaxation, the body enjoying the sun from a clear blue sky, and the retailers are busy at work emptying out their stores to make way for their Autumnal goods. Last year at this time I did a post on nice rainwear I found in the sales, though this year there is thankfully a bit less rain, though the really hot weather is still AWOL. Which means that I can pick out something other than shorts and tees and still be relevant. Nice!

A few sites currently having lots of interesting stuff on sale:

If you’re shopping from outside the EU, be aware that Coggles don’t deduct UK VAT (even though they are required to by law). I strongly suggest boycotting them.

To start off, a few jackets I wouldn’t mind adding to my small collection:

Hi Nick, just saw this post. How about the Astorflex Greenflex. What’s your experience? I like them but don’t know how the fit/sizing is compared to the Clarks desert boot. Can’t get them anywhere brick and mortar over here, so try to get an insight before ordering online.
    Thanks, Paul

Hi Paul, I’ve never tried them, though have a recollection of them being true to size. I feel your pain in ordering blind!
